Halloween Costume Ideas for Pets

Dressing pets up for Halloween is an age-old tradition and I think it’s great.  I know some pet owners (and their pets disagree).  My pugs Sugar and Kona liked it.  They used to go trick-or-treating with us when our kids were younger.

DOH. I am sad they are too old to really participate any more other than barking at trick-or-treaters when they come to the door.

To celebrate Halloween this year I have created a quick list of my favorite Halloween costumes for pets, listed below.  Fair warning, these images are linked directly to my Amazon affiliate page.

These are hilarious!

What is your pet going dressed up as this year? Share it on my Facebook page or in the comments here and I’ll post it on my page! I’d love to see them!

Remember to keep your pets safe this Halloween.  Keep them out of the candy and watch for safety on the road.  Be sure they are seen by cars driving by and so on.  Attaching a glow in the dark necklace or stick to their costumes really helps with visibility!

Happy Howl-O-Ween!
